A Private Tour Through Catalonia's Top Sparkling Wine Producers
During this experience, we will visit one of the top Corpinnat producers, journeying through the vineyards of Penedès and sampling their exquisite wines with a light appetizer.
In the cellar, an expert will demonstrate the traditional disgorgement method, offering us the chance to taste the wine in its purest form.
We will also stop amidst the vineyards to further explore this world-renowned region for sparkling wines. To conclude, we’ll taste four wines, both sparkling and still, before enjoying a traditional Catalan meal at a local restaurant.

Corpinnat: Catalonia's Distinct Sparkling Wine Designation
Cava, Catalonia’s celebrated sparkling wine, boasts many brands under the Cava DO, some rivaling the quality of champagne. However, only a select few producers have established the prestigious Corpinnat DO, a controlled designation of origin created in 2019 by high-quality cava producers. This designation promotes stricter standards, ensuring that all Corpinnat sparkling wines are made exclusively from grapes grown in the Penedès region, using traditional winemaking methods. With a focus on sustainability and rigorous quality control, Corpinnat aims to preserve the region’s reputation while providing exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of Catalonia.

The tour includes private transportation in a premium car with a dedicated driver from Barcelona. You’ll visit a vineyard for tastings of local products and the winery’s own Cava. Then enjoy a private cellar tour showcasing the traditional disgorgement method, along with tastings of two premium sparkling wines and two flat wines. The experience concludes with a traditional Catalan lunch at a local restaurant, which includes house wine and dessert. Each winery visit is guided by experts, providing insights into the wine-making process and enhancing your overall experience.
This culinary tour is completely private, personalized, and exclusive for those who book them, as long as they are tours for a minimum of two people. If you wish to do it individually, please contact experiences@epicure-society.com, and we will send you a proposal.
Our tours are private and personalized, but adapting to vegetarians or vegans may not be feasible, as we will be visiting a cured meat factory with limited alternative products for tastings. However, if you are vegetarian and genuinely wish to visit this location, please send us an email at experiences@epicure-society.com and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
If you are unable to attend your tour reservation and you inform us with at least 72 hours’ notice, we will refund 80% of the amount. If you notify us with less than 72 hours’ notice, we will refund 50% of the amount, or we will do our best to try to find another date for the tour.
Yes, people of all ages can attend the activity. In the case of minors, they must be accompanied by a guardian, and alcoholic beverages will not be served to them. Children under 9 years old will not be charged, although the drinks they have must be paid for separately.
The ride from Barcelona to the first facility stop is approximately one hour from the city center.
